Fall Family Photos – Family Photography Tolland CT
One year ago in Fall 2020, I met up with Michael, Kelly, Annabelle, Evan and baby Owen to capture their family love with the All-Inclusive Family Session. I had photographed Kelly’s Studio Maternity Pictures and we had baby Owen’s newborn session scheduled, however, Covid-19 made an appearance and the world shut down so we were not able to do Owen’s newborn pictures, so instead we scheduled an All-Inclusive Family Session for later in the year. We decided on a date towards the end of October last year and by the time their session date came around, the beautiful and rich colors of fall had made their appearance and settled in quite nicely. We captured their family love, some fun and smiles.
Getting to know my clients makes me feel like I’m photographing old friends, and I love when my clients feel the same and are comfortable in front of my camera. Mom shared with me a little about their family. Mom is active and loves kayaking for fun, Michael loves the piano, Annabelle is also active and enjoys gymnastics, Evan loves anything to do with Legos, and baby Owen adores his mama. They are such a sweet and kind family; their friendliness is genuine and pure hearted. I enjoyed being the one to capture their story during this time in their lives, it truly is an honor for me.

Family photo sessions are the perfect way to capture the growth in your family year after year, your family at play and capture all the silliness that can be had. When I photograph families, I always capture the silly, fun-loving side of all your loved ones as well as the formal pictures. I’ll capture each family member and document the relationship they have with each other, as well as focus on documenting your togetherness as a family. I work to capture the entire family together, siblings together, and each on their own. It’s so important to capture every family member and freeze them in those moments just as they are.
Melissa Hartigan Photography All-Inclusive family sessions begin booking in April each year and are photographed until the end of the fall season. As a mother to five children, I know how important it is to capture your family and freeze the fleeting moments as each year passes you by. After all, they are moments that once they are gone you won’t be able to get back. Since All-Inclusive Family Sessions tend to fill up very quickly, I always recommend that if you are wanting to schedule your family session to book as soon as possible.

When you book a session with Melissa Hartigan Photography, whether it be a family session, maternity and newborn sessions, a baby milestone session or your senior’s portraits before they graduate, I give you MY ALL, before, during and long after your session has come and gone.
