For those who are visiting for the first time, I’m a CT Newborn Photographer with a professional photography studio located in Coventry, CT. I specialize in maternity, newborn, baby milestone, children and family photography. I love to capture special events in people’s lives and give them heirloom quality photographs they can cherish forever of their new baby and as a family. I am so happy to be a part of these memorable moments for this new family of three. Here is a little peek into Julian’s Cherished Newborn Session captured in my photography studio.

Handsome Julian Cherished Newborn Session – East Hartford CT Newborn Photography

Samantha and Alex are absolutely smitten over welcoming their first baby, a handsome baby boy! When they came to the studio for Julian’s Cherished Newborn Session, being that they are huge Dallas Cowboys fans they brought a mini Cowboys football as a prop to incorporate into the session. It is so cute and Julian posed perfectly on it!

As a couple they love checking out new restaurants, breweries and wineries. Now that they have a son to love and raise, I’m sure they will support their favorite team and watch lots of football games with him and teach him all about the game of football.

Light and Airy Family Photos – CT Newborn Family Photographer

So often, with so many of my newborn sessions that include parent and family pictures, you see traditional family photos against a darker backdrop for that ‘classic family photo’. It’s a style that I love and is often requested. With Samantha and Alex’s photos as a family with their baby boy Julian, we mixed it up and went for a soft, light and airy look for some of their newborn and family photos. I’m absolutely loving the results. Mama is stunning in the white fitted gown snuggling her baby boy!

We also captured some traditional, classic style newborn family photos and as you can see they are simply amazing too. These photos absolutely screamed to be converted to black and white. Julian looks so comfy snuggled on his Dad’s arm, and their family photo is really something out of this world!

Blue, Ivory and White Baby Boy Newborn Pictures – Newborn Photography East Hartford CT

Samantha requested blue, ivory and white colors incorporated into Julian’s newborn pictures. He looks so handsome in all the newborn poses and props. All the light and soft color tones that we used mixed with the blues couldn’t have been a better match. I adore baby boys in the colors mom requested for his session. He was the perfect baby model, I could have snuggled him all day!

Melissa Hartigan Photography has a beautifully curated newborn wardrobe to style and dress each newborn baby with. As a newborn photographer in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, I am always buying and adding new and beautiful knitted-handmade props to my newborn and baby prop collection. Clients always have access to these props for their newborn and baby milestone sessions. Props are always pre-selected based off the color choices that you choose prior to your session, and set-ups are then designed around your color choices. Everything is always prepared and ready to begin once you arrive for your newborn and baby milestone sessions. I am always happy to pre-select client desired props from my prop collection to include in your session setups.
